College football comes to a peak in December. Not because the playoffs begin, but before that as the first selection is made for the 12-team College Football Playoffs.
The best of the best will be sent around the country as they play through the bracket to reach the National Championship in Atlanta. Until then, fans can still enjoy the heart of the CFP as it heads to six bowls during the quarterfinals and semifinals. That includes the Fiesta Bowl.
Arizona's very own will be the sight of a quarterfinal matchup for this season's historic playoff race. Two will enter but only one will thrive under the desert sun on New Year's Eve.
It's never too early to make plans for the Fiesta Bowl. Here's how to get the best deals on tickets for the game.
A quarterfinal matchup, a lot is weighing on this game. However, participating teams won't be known until the CFP begins. Passes are currently going for only $150 as a result, so football fans can snag their spots at a playoff game ahead of time at a relatively affordable price. Those that want to sit lower in the main level can get seats for about $260.
Once playoff teams are decided, costs will likely rise as fans of those teams get their last-minute spots in the stadium.

College Football Playoff 2024-25 format, bracket
In this year's CFP, the top-four teams will earn a bye to the quarterfinals while seeds 5-12 will play a first round game. The top teams will be the top-ranked conference winners.
On Dec. 8, Selection Day, the committee will assign games to the 12 teams headed to the playoffs. For those headed straight to the quarterfinals, they will play one of four bowl games: Fiesta Bowl, Rose Bowl, Peach Bowl and Sugar Bowl. Bowl designations will be determined based on geographical location and a team's historical relationship to the game.
The semifinals will be played at the Orange Bowl and Cotton Bowl while the national championship will be in Atlanta.
Because of the elimination-style bracket, participating teams and matchups will not be revealed until the playoffs commence and teams win their way through each round.
