Davante Adams crashes Aaron Rodgers' Pat McAfee interview hours after trade to Jets

It did not take long for Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams to get in the same room.

The New York Jets landed Adams in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders on Tuesday, reuniting Rodgers with one of his favorite targets of all-time.

The two stars wasted no time getting back together, as Adams crashed Rodgers' weekly appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show."

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Adams had taken a red-eye flight to New Jersey as the trade became finalized.

Adams told McAfee that the hamstring injury that kept him out of the Raiders' previous three games is healed and that he feels he should be able to quickly get on the same page as Rodgers.

"I'm sure there's a few new little nuances," Adams said of the Jets offense. "But for the most part, a lot of the same verbage. Still the same old O.G. [Rodgers] right here, so we should be able to pickup where we left off."

In 2021 — Adams' last season with the Green Bay Packers and Rodgers — Adams caught 123 passes fro 1,553 yards and 11 touchdowns. The 2-4 Jets will be hoping that Adams can give some life to their struggling offense.
