After trying to grab a part ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders for quite some time now, future Hall of Famer and current broadcaster Tom Brady has officially been approved.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport , Brady was approved by NFL owners on Tuesday. He currently has a five-percent stake in the team but will ultimately grab a 10% share of the franchise.

The hold up in approving Brady had to do with his role as a FOX broadcaster and the conflict of interest that might arise. However, certainly stipulations have reportedly been put in place to prevent any issues.

As ESPN's Seth Wickersham reported, Brady will face certain restrictions moving forward, including not being able to be in another team's facility, not being able to witness another team's practice, and he cannot attend broadcast production meetings, whether that be in person or virtually.

    Here's more restrictions, per Wickersham.

Aside from the access restrictions, Brady -- if he were to become a limited partner with the Raiders -- would be subject to other applicable league policies common to other owners.

He would be prohibited from publicly criticizing game officials and other clubs. While Brady could, in theory, state that he disagrees with a call on air, he would be subject to fines or even a suspension if he went too far.

He would be subject to the league's gambling policy.

He would be subject to the league's anti-tampering policies. He would be permitted only "strictly social communication with members of other clubs," according to the slide that the league presented.

In addition to Brady, fellow former New England Patriot, Richard Seymour, will also have a share of the team that is believed to be 0.5%, according to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer .

The approval of Brady's ownership stake comes at a time when the Raiders are likely to be sellers at the trade deadline, with the goal of putting the franchise in position to rebuild or retool the roster in the next few years. That began on Tuesday, when the Raiders traded Davante Adams to the New York Jets.

Las Vegas would be wise to take whatever input Brady is willing to offer, and chances are the team will.
