Years after they last played together with the Tennessee Titans in 2019, Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry and Washington Commanders quarterback Marcus Mariota reunited recently.

The Ravens and Commanders squared off in a Week 6 game at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday that saw Baltimore emerge victorious over Washington, 30-23. After the contest was over, Mariota and Henry met on the field and embraced.

The reunion between the former teammates was about as wholesome as you can get, with Henry clearly being very excited to see Mariota. And, in the process, it got us right in the feels remembering how exciting they were with the Titans.

Here's a transcript of the exchange between the former Titans. You can check out the video below.

Henry: "Marcus, what up?! What up, boy?! What up?"

Mariota: "You still doing your thing."

Henry: "Marcus my dog! Oh, Marcus, what up?"

    Mariota: "My guy! You good?"

Henry: "Hey, congrats on your (new baby)."

Mariota: "Ah thank you. My little man. Little man."

    Henry: "There you go!"

A former No. 2 overall pick of the Titans in 2015, Mariota, who is now backing up rookie sensation Jayden Daniels, once looked like he was going to be a star for the franchise, but injuries helped derail his career.

The Titans also did Mariota no favors with lackluster supporting casts and multiple offensive coordinators, setting him up for failure.

Henry had very different results, though. He became a superstar in Tennessee and is rightly considered one of the greatest players in franchise history. Unfortunately, Henry moved on to play for the Ravens in 2024.

Henry recently passed 10,000 yards for his career to cement his place in the Hall of Fame and is on pace to rush for 2,000 yards in a season for the second time in his career, showing he still has plenty left in the tank at age 30.
