The Dallas Cowboys currently are in third place in the NFC East with a 3-3 record.

Dallas has one of the best-looking rosters on paper, but things just haven't clicked for the team so far. While this is the case, there is plenty of time left in the regular season, and the Cowboys likely will be fine. They have too much talent to not at least compete for a playoff spot.

The Cowboys are coming off their worst loss of the season after falling against the Detroit Lions in Week 6, 47-9. In the aftermath of the loss, owner Jerry Jones joined 105.3 The Fan and, in the process, made comments that seemed to indicate that he would fire a radio host for asking questions about why the season hasn't gone as planned.

This has led to plenty of backlash because of the fact that Jones, through his comments, seemed to threaten the livelihood of an employee for doing nothing more than the job they were hired to do.

Many have spoken out about the comments, including National Football League legend and Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe.

"I hate, I detest, I despise someone that will prey on the weak," Sharpe said. "If the Cowboys don't win another playoff game or another game as long as Jerry Jones is the owner, I'll be the happiest man in the world."

Sharpe isn't the only person who has spoken out about Jones' comments and likely won't be the last. Things don't seem to be going right in Dallas right now and the only thing that is going to fix the issues is stacking up wins.
