Tracy McGrady thinks this NBA player wins regular season and Finals MVP

Tracy McGrady was recently asked to give his prediction on who will win the NBA MVP Award as well as the NBA Finals this upcoming season, and his answers remained consistent. He thinks Luka Doncic will be the MVP while the Dallas Mavericks win the championship .

"Based on the season he had last year leading his team to the finals, I think coming back this year, he is gonna be even hungrier. I look at a guy like Luke Doncic will be this year's MVP," said McGrady . "He is a guy that I think every year coming into the NBA season, you can always consider him an MVP candidate, but I think that coming into this season, it will be Luka Doncic's MVP to lose."

McGrady then doubled down on Dallas with his next prediction, saying Doncic would add several accolades to his resume.

"I can't see the Celtics doing it again," said McGrady . "Luka is going to sweep the board. My preseason pick for NBA champ is going to be the Dallas Mavericks. Dallas made it there last year; adding Klay Thompson, I think, is going to make them the favorite."

If Doncic were able to win a regular-season MVP, Finals MVP, and Larry O'Brien Trophy, it would start to move him up the all-time ranks, as only eight players have ever done so in the same season. Obviously, there is a lot of work to be done, but it is starting to feel like it is Doncic's time to take over the NBA.
