The Buffalo Bills are 4-2 and hold a two-game lead in the AFC East over the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins. However, they have had continued issues in the kicking game.

Tyler Bass has been very inconsistent over the last year. He missed five field goals in the regular season in 2023, and missed the game-tying kick in the divisional round of the playoffs against the Kansas City Chiefs that could have sent the game into overtime. Instead, the Bills' season ended on an all-too familiar sight - wide right. Bass missed an extra point in the Bills' win over the Jets, which felt like the last straw that forced the Bills to look for an eventual replacement.

The Bills have signed former Los Angeles Rams kicker Lucas Havrisik to their practice squad. Havrisik went 15-of-20 on kicks last year with the Rams.

It's the worst kept secret now that Bass is on thin ice. Should his struggles continue, Havrisik could get the call to be the team's new kicker while Bass is let go.

It's about time. I like Bass but he is just not reliable anymore.
