The Chicago Bears are 4-2 and right in the middle of a tight race in the NFC North. The Bears could look to make a trade to bolster their team to try and win the division.

When outlining realistic trades the team could make, FanSided's Terrence Jordan proposed this trade that brings Trey Hendrickson from the Cincinnati Bengals to Chicago:

    • Bears receive: defensive end Trey Hendrickson
    • Bengals receive: 2025 second-round pick

"Trey Hendrickson is one of the premier pass-rushers in the league, and he's had a tumultuous contract history in Cincinnati, even going as far as requesting a trade earlier in the year," wrote Jordan. "The Bengals are a disappointing 2-4, and even with Hendrickson, their defense has struggled to stop anyone. If the price is right, they could be open to trading him."

Despite the Bengals' 2-4 start it is difficult to envision them punting on the season. They signed Hendrickson to a one-year, $21 million extension last summer. Hendrickson is a three-time Pro Bowler. He is going for his fourth consecutive appearance in the Pro Bowl this year. He has 64.5 career sacks.

The Bears have an extra second-round pick at their disposal from the lopsided trade they made with the Carolina Panthers.

"Poles has been famously trigger-happy with his second-rounders in the past, and that was to help teams that didn't look half as good as this one does now," wrote Jordan. "If he has a chance to upgrade midseason, he's going to do it."
