Former Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler got himself in legal trouble in Tennessee on Thursday night, according to multiple reports.

According to TMZ , Cutler was arrested for DUI and three other offenses, including failure to exercise due care, violation of implied consent law, and possession of a handgun while under the influence.

Cutler was booked into the Williamson County Jail before eventually being released after posting a $5,000 bond, according to the Franklin Police Department. There are no more details of his arrest at this time.

A former first-round pick of the Denver Broncos in 2006, Cutler spent three years with the franchise, finishing with a 62.5% completion rate, 9,024 passing yards and 54 touchdowns to 37 interceptions. Denver was 17-20 in his starts.

Denver then traded Cutler to the Chicago Bears in 2009, his first of eight seasons with the team. Cutler threw for over 23,000 yards in Chicago and tallied 154 touchdowns to 109 picks and a 51-51 record.

His last stop in the NFL was with the Dolphins in 2017, where he spent one season. Cutler posted a 6-8 record as the starter for Miami and notched a 62% completion rate, 2,666 passing yards, and 19 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

Prior to his NFL career, Cutler played quarterback at Vanderbilt.
