After a dominating performance against the Denver Nuggets in their season opener, the Oklahoma City Thunder have put the league on notice as a potential dynasty in the making.

Now, the young Thunder squad travels to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bulls in a reunion game against one of their original players who helped start their historic rebuild.

Here is a list of the potential lineups for OKC's game two, as well as key injuries and important information to know before the game begins.

    Time and Place?

The OKC Thunder are away as they face the Chicago Bulls in the United Center at 8:00 PM EST/7:00 PM CDT and on FanDuel Sports Network - Oklahoma.

    Lineups

If Mark Daigneault is consistent with his lineup from their first game, here is what the Thunder's starters will look like:

    Position: Name: Number:
    Point Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 2
    Shooting Guard Isaiah Joe 11
    Small Forward Lu Dort 5
    Power Forward Jalen Williams 8
    Center Chet Holmgren 7

For the Chicago Bulls, here is how they will potentially matchup against Loud City:

    Position: Name: Number:
    Point Guard Coby White 0
    Shooting Guard Josh Giddey 3
    Small Forward Zach LaVine 8
    Power Forward Patrick Williams 44
    Center Nikola Vucevic 9

    Injuries

For the Thunder, Jalen Williams and Kenrich Williams are listed as day-to-day. Isaiah Hartenstein and Nikola Topic are out with their respective injuries.

For the Bulls, the only player listed as out is point guard Lonzo Ball with a knee injury.

    What to know

While the Bulls aren't entering this season with a ton of expectations, this game still bears a ton of emotional weight for both teams. For the Thunder, this will be their first time facing their ex-teammate in Josh Giddey since he was traded for Alex Caruso.

Selected sixth overall by the Thunder in the 2021 Draft, Giddey was an essential piece in OKC's rebuild to where the team is today. Averaging 13 points, seven rebounds, six assists and becoming the youngest player in NBA history to get a triple-double, Giddey showed he could be one of the league's best playmakers.

Off the court the guys are of course friends, but on the court will definitely be all business. It will be interesting to see how Mark Daigneault decides to match up against Giddey given his subpar shooting abilities.

For Alex Caruso, this is his first time back in Chicago since he joined OKC. During his three-year tenure with the Bulls, Caruso averaged eight points, three assists and nearly two steals per game while also making multiple All-Defensive teams and obtaining votes for DPOY. When Caruso enters the game, he will be sure to get a standing ovation and tribute for his meaningful contributions and impact.
