Lourdes Preparing to Open Johnson City Senior Care Center
A long-awaited senior wellness center in downtown Johnson City is expected to be operational soon. Lourdes Hospital will operate the facility on Jenison Avenue as part of a collaborative arrangement with Binghamton University. Construction of a pre-engineered building near other components of the university's Health Science Campus was completed recently.
Suspect Sought in Shooting of Teenager in Binghamton Neighborhood

Binghamton Detectives Investigating Infant’s Death
Authorities say a baby who was reported to be unresponsive at a Binghamton residence died after being taken to a hospital. According to a Binghamton Police Department news release issued Tuesday afternoon, patrol officers and fire medics were sent to Stuyvesant Street shortly before 8:30 a.m. Sunday. A person who called 911 advised dispatchers of an unresponsive infant child.
