“People have wondered who I really am,” McMahon says in the trailer’s opening moments. “Portrayal of me is I’m a bad guy. But no one really knows me.”

Netflix’s six-part docuseries Mr. McMahon will conduct a deep dive into the controversial WWE personality and businessman.

The series chronicles how McMahon bought the regional wrestling company from his father and transformed it into a billion-dollar enterprise.

The series was developed with the support of McMahon, who agreed to be interviewed before his legal troubles. However, McMahon’s sexual assault allegations and hush-money settlements led to McMahon’s resignation.

The series will cover McMahon’s downfall and feature interviews with the journalists who unearthed the allegations.

Who Is Involved In Mr. McMahon?

Mr. McMahon hails from executive producers Chris Smith (Tiger King) and Bill Simmons (The Ringer). Library Films and Ringer Films are the production companies involved with the series.

“Over the four years of production, the story evolved in truly shocking ways, culminating in some extremely harrowing allegations,” Smith told Netflix. “The final product is a revealing documentary that we believe offers a rich and nuanced portrait of the man and the complex legacy he left behind.”

The docuseries features interviews with McMahon (before his resignation) and some of wrestling’s most iconic figures, including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena, and Triple H.
