EA SPORTS FC 25: 5 Highest Rated England Internationals In The Game

EA Sports, the division of Electronic Arts that develops sports games, is set to return with its best-seller soccer game this September. Following the grand success of FC 24, the first soccer title after EA Sports’ split with FIFA, EA Sports will release FC 25 on September 27 across the globe.

Although it will be an incremental upgrade over FC 24, there is plenty of excitement around the title. Admirers of the genre are eager to know the ratings of their favorite teams, of their favorite players. EA Sports will release the ratings of the entire roster on Friday, September 13. However, we simply cannot wait that long to get the ball rolling.

In the first part of our EA FC 25 ratings series, we will explore the game’s best English players. Below, we will check out the top five Three Lions stars on FC 25.

#5 Declan Rice (Arsenal): 87 OVR

Arsenal and England defensive midfielder, Declan Rice, is the fifth-best Englishman on EA FC 25 with an overall rating of 87. Although we do not exactly know which areas Rice has improved in from FC 24, we can confirm that his overall rating has received a two-point increment.

Having joined from West Ham United, Rice enjoyed a stellar season for Arsenal in 2023-24. Not only did he boss the midfield, thanks to his immaculate distribution and game-reading skills, but he also proved clinical in the final third. Rice featured in all 38 Premier League matches for the Gunners last term, scoring seven times and providing nine assists. Without him, Arsenal could not have pushed Manchester City until the last day of the Premier League calendar.

#4 Bukayo Saka (Arsenal): 87 OVR

Level with Arsenal teammate Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka has also secured an overall rating of 87 on EA Sports FC 25. On EA Sports FC 24, Saka started off with 86 OVR and had the potential to reach up to 90 in career mode.

Saka, 23, was Arsenal’s most effective forward as they went toe-to-toe with Manchester City for the Premier League title last season. The brilliant right-winger played in 35 matches in the English top flight, scoring a team-high 16 times and providing nine assists. He also shone brightly in the UEFA Champions League, scoring four goals and claiming four assists in nine games.

Saka was not at his best as England reached the final of the 2024 European Championship (EURO 2024). However, he still pitched in with a goal and an assist in seven outings.

#3 Phil Foden (Manchester City): 88 OVR

Manchester City poster boy Phil Foden enjoyed a blistering 2023-24 campaign, and unsurprisingly, EA Sports has rewarded him for it. Foden is up to 88 OVR in EA FC 25, enjoying a one-point bump from last year. This year, Foden has 86 (+5) Pace, 86 (+7) Shooting, 85 (+3) Passing, 90 (+2) Dribbling, and 63 (+3) Physicality.

Foden enjoyed his best-ever Premier League campaign for Manchester City in 2023-24. The versatile forward was devastating on either flank and also looked comfortable playing through the middle. He appeared in 35 Premier League matches for the Cityzens, scoring 19 times and providing eight assists. The England international also scored five times and claimed three assists in eight UEFA Champions League games.

Foden’s goals and assists proved invaluable as Man City became the first team to claim four consecutive Premier League titles last season. For his remarkable showings, Foden won the Premier League Player of the Year and PFA Player of the Year awards.

#2 Harry Kane (Bayern Munich): 90 OVR

The only player on this list with an unchanged rating, England striker Harry Kane has a 90 OVR on EA Sports FC 25. With the player currently on the wrong side of 30, Kane has dropped some points in individual areas, with the most notable one being Pace. In EA FC 25, Kane has 65 (-4) Pace, 93 Shooting, 84 Passing, 83 Dribbling, 49 Defending, and 82 (-1) Physicality.

The 31-year-old could not deliver in EURO 2024, playing well below his lofty standards and scoring just thrice in seven games. However, his performances for Bayern Munich were good enough to preserve his overall rating. Kane scored 44 times and provided 12 assists in 45 games in all competitions. A staggering 36 of his goals came in 32 Bundesliga games, which allowed him to win the European Golden Shoe with 72 points.

#1 Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid): 90 OVR

Real Madrid’s gifted midfielder, Jude Bellingham, has a mighty impressive 90 OVR on EA Sports FC 25, which makes him the best English player in the game. Last year, Bellingham’s overall rating stood at 86, meaning the 21-year-old is also the most improved player in England’s first-choice XI. The attack-minded midfielder has 80 (+4) Pace, 87 (+12) Shooting, 83 (+4) Passing, 88 (+3) Dribbling, 78 Defending, and 83 (+1) Physicality.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti gave Bellingham the license to set up camp in the final third of the pitch last season. Despite never playing regularly in that role, Bellingham looked right at home. Not only did he combine flawlessly with Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo, but he also scored for fun. Throughout the 2023-24 campaign, Bellingham scored 23 goals and claimed 13 assists in 42 games across competitions. His heroics helped Los Blancos to the UEFA Champions League trophy, the La Liga title, and the Supercopa de Espana.

Despite failing to carry his mesmerizing form over to EURO 2024, Bellingham emerged as England’s best player in Germany. He scored twice across the tournament, the second of which came from a sensational overhead kick against Slovakia in the Round of 16.
