The Los Angeles Rams exceeded expectations last year and made the playoffs.

This season has not gone their way after two games.

They are 0-2 and got blown out in week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals.

The biggest concern after their loss is Cooper Kupp injured his ankle and did not return to the game after halftime.

He was seen in a walking boot after the game.

In week 1, Puka Nacua injured his knee and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

Nacua and Kupp are a dangerous WR duo but the Rams will be without Nacua for an extended period and Kupp could miss time, depending on the severity of his ankle injury.

The Los Angeles Rams’ defense has struggled mightily in the first two weeks.

Detroit and Arizona moved the ball fairly easily against the Rams.

Below, we discuss if the Los Angeles Rams can overcome the injuries to their star WRs or if their season is already derailed after just two games.

Can The Los Angeles Rams Overcome Injuries To Their Two Star WRs?

After the Los Angeles Rams exceeded expectations last season and made the playoffs, this year has not gone their way.

Puka Nacua injured his knee in week 1 and is expected to miss 4-6 more weeks.

In week 2, Cooper Kupp injured his ankle just before halftime.

He did not return after halftime and was seen in a walking boot after the game.

It is currently not clear if Kupp will miss time but being in a walking boot after the game and not returning after halftime suggests he will miss some time at least.

Entering the season, the Los Angeles Rams had one of the best all-around offenses in the league.

Now, with their top two WRs injured, this offense does not frighten any team.

Matthew Stafford is a very good QB but he will not be able to overcome losing his top two wideouts.

Defensively, the Los Angeles Rams have struggled mightily.

Detroit ran it all over them in week 1 and the Cardinals had their way with the Rams’ defense in week 2.

Arizona ran and passed the ball at will all over the Rams’ defense.

The Los Angeles Rams had no answers for Kyler Murray and the offense in week 2.

The Rams were expected to make the postseason and possibly challenge the 49ers for the NFC West crown.

Unfortunately, losing Nacua and Kupp and with their defense struggling mightily, their season outlook now looks bleak.

The Los Angeles Rams’ season is already derailed and they will not be able to overcome their 0-2 start and injuries to their two stud wideouts.
