NASCAR Truck Series driver Grant Enfinger didn’t allow two late setbacks and low fuel to detour his way to Victory Lane at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The winner of consecutive Round of 8 races, Enfinger endured late-race tire rub on a restart and an unscheduled pit stop, but held off Saturday’s Baptist Health 200 field for his second win this season.

“Hard to beat these two weeks,” Enfinger told Fox Sports. “We’ve had potential all year. Sometimes I didn’t execute. Sometimes we had bad luck.”

On Saturday, he reached his driving potential by competing with the front pack while conserving fuel. He also got some luck when two opponents ran out of gas last while running in second position.

With back-to-back postseason wins, Enfinger said he anticipated having the top pit-stall choice for the Championship 4 race at Phoenix Raceway on Nov. 8.
