(Lincoln, NE) - The Northwest softball team took care of business on Friday in Lincoln at the Lincoln Public Schools Invite. The Vikings would open up the day with a 7-3 win over defending Class A state champs Papillion La Vista. Northwest would have 7 hits in the game with 1 error. Papio would have 6 hits and 1 error in the game. Becca Dinkelman would hit a home run in the game, overall having 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Reyse Zobel would deliver with 2 hits and 2 RBIs.

KHS Softball goes 1-2 in Lincoln Tournament
The Kearney High Varsity softball team traveled to Lincoln for an early season tournament and went 1-2 on the day. They struggled to hit the ball against Hastings in game 1, losing 8-0. Game 2 was a close matchup against Lincoln Southeast, with the Bearcats winning 6-4. And in the final game against Elkhorn South, it was another case of falling behind and not being able to catch back up, losing 10-1.
Lincoln Northeast blasts past Omaha Northwest
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – After going 0-18 the past two seasons, Lincoln Northeast started 2024 off with a week-one win beating Omaha Northwest 48-0 at Beecher Sports Complex.
