Tri County Northeast couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers at home by a 34-20 margin on Friday. Tri County Northeast's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ben Jorgensen, who rushed for 62 yards on only seven carries, and also threw for 42 yards and a touchdown.
