Police arrested a Hanover Twp. man Wednesday for a burglary in 2022
Hanover Twp. police arrested a man Wednesday that they've been looking for in connection with a convenient store burglary nearly two years ago. Police took James R. Robinson, 30, of Hanover Twp., into custody at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on an outstanding warrant to face charges related to the burglary of the EZ Express Gas Station, 1204 Sans Souci Parkway, on Nov. 3, 2022, police said in a press release.
Theft reported at Union County coffee shop
Mifflinburg, Pa. — Someone broke into a coffee shop trailer over the weekend in Union County and took several hundred dollars, according to police. Trp. Hill of state police at Milton says the weekend of June 29 and 30, the unknown suspect broke into IV Coffee Co.'s trailer on Red Barn Road in Buffalo Township and took $300. The coffee shop made a post Monday on their Facebook page, asking the public for help with leads for the burglary incident. "Over the weekend our Mifflinburg location that holds our trailer was broken into. Hundreds of dollars taken. We have already gone through the appropriate avenue to report it and they have advised that I make a post asking for help from my followers.If you happen to have any leads or heard any talk of someone bragging about this, please contact me (Kari) or Trooper Hill with the Pennsylvania State Police," the post read. "And just a gentle reminder that every single little dollar makes an impact for small businesses like mine that pay for our electric bill, little league for my boy and so much more." It will be held at the Bethlehem City Hall on July 31. A severe storm which knocked out electricity at Bethlehem City Hall forced the cancellation of the previously scheduled hearing on June 26.
