Platteville Man Arrested For OWI
An Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on US Highway 18-151 near Mile Marker 45 in Dodgeville Township Saturday around 2:45am. As a result of the traffic stop, the driver, 40 year old Douglas Banfield of Platteville was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated. Banfield was taken to the hospital for a legal blood draw and later released to a responsible party.
