Suspect Arrested Following Burglary and High-Speed Pursuit in La Mesa
On June 30, 2024, at approximately 7:30 PM, officers responded to the 7800 block of University Avenue to investigate multiple burglary and robbery alarm activations. Upon arrival, an officer observed a male suspect inside the premises running towards the back of the building. The suspect was ordered to stop but instead fled the scene in a vehicle at a high rate of speed.
