A Chinese Chain That’s All About Seafood Is Expanding to Convoy
A regional Chinese specialty is the focus of a new restaurant coming to the Convoy District. Headquartered in Beijing and known stateside as Fish With You, the fast-casual chain has over 2,000 locations across China, Canada, and Dubai. Revolving around variations on “suan cai yu”, a white fish and fermented cabbage stew spiked with Sichuan peppercorns and Chinese chili peppers, the restaurant is replacing Shentan BBQ in the Convoy Street plaza that also houses Tsuruhashi Japanese BBQ and Mekong Cuisine Lao & Thai and is expected to open this October after an extensive renovation of the space.

As temperatures stabilize throughout the week in the San Diego area, the National Weather Service forecasts minimal change day-by-day. San Diego County sees the lower 70s near the coast and mid-80s to lower 90s inland today, followed by similar temperatures tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service San Diego, CA. The Inland Empire will experience the mid-80s to mid-90s, while the high deserts hover around the 90s to lower 100s, and the lower deserts scorch at 104 to 110 degrees.
