New Starbucks Looks to Be Planned for Spring Valley

The intersection of South Rainbow Boulevard and West Oquendo Road in Spring Valley appears to be the future of home a new Starbucks location. Permitting paperwork was submitted recently showing a new outpost of the global coffee chain opening at 5860 S Rainbow Blvd —to the tune of an estimated $240,000 for the work.

The Starbucks menu is currently featuring Valentine’s Day-themed drinks like the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Crème Frappuccino ( Treat yourself and a friend to swirls of happiness and rich java chips ) and the Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie Cold Brew ( a decadent coffee confection with chocolaty cookies crumbles ).

These are in addition to the brand’s world-famous espresso drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, and more—plus drip coffee and cold brew. There are teas and fruit teas, mochas and Frappuccinos, breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches, along with a selection of pastries and other cafe-style desserts and light eats.

Opening in the Rainbow Boulevard location, a new Starbucks would join several local businesses, including indoor playground Kids Town , Italian restaurant Le Sorelle Restaurant and Bar , and Mage Hookah Lounge .

What Now reached out Friday to Starbucks Regional Director Noel Hord to ask about plans for a new Starbucks location. Hord was not immediately available for comment.
