Fenwick names Springboro graduate as new athletic director

Fenwick High School has named Kyle Longworth as its new athletic director.

Longworth worked at his alma mater, Springboro High School , for the past six years, including the last three as an assistant athletic director. He was also athletic coordinator and an assistant football coach, in addition to being a site manager for junior high sports.

Longworth earned a bachelor’s degree in sports administration from Georgetown College in 2017 and a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2019, also in sports administration.

Longworth is a 2013 Springboro graduate. He was the football team’s second-leading rusher in 2012 with 976 yards and seven touchdowns, helping the Panthers to a 10-1 record. He was on the football team at Indiana University in 2013 and redshirted before transferring to Cincinnati.
