Jöelle Storet brings her artistic vision to TheatreSquared’s ‘A Raisin in the Sun’
Jöelle Storet found it very easy to say “yes” to her newest project — designing the artistic story for TheatreSquared’s production of “A Raisin in the Sun”, opening Aug. 23 and running through Sept. 15. Written by Lorraine Hansberry and first produced on Broadway in 1959, the poignant play details a Black family’s attempt to achieve their dreams despite systemic racism and segregation in mid-century Chicago.
