Pedestrian dies after being hit by 2 vehicles on I-275 in Springdale

A pedestrian was hit and killed in Springdale early Saturday morning, according to Springdale police.

Police said officers were called to westbound Interstate 275 near mile marker 43 at approximately 2:22 a.m. for a female pedestrian on the road.

The female was hit by two passing motor vehicles, police said.

Officers said the pedestrian died at the scene and her identify has yet to be release.

Police said the drivers of the vehicles did not appear to be impaired, and they remained at the scene.
