    Springfield Police, Lincoln Land Community College announce Cadet Program

    SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) — The Springfield Police Department announced on Thursday they are launching a new Cadet Program in partnership with Lincoln Land Community College.

    The program, which will start this August, will allow currently enrolled LLCC students to apply for the “comprehensive and unique” law enforcement training program.

    In their announcement of the program, the Springfield Police Department said the selected Cadets will gain invaluable paid work experience a ross the department’s divisions.

    “Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to jumpstart your career in law enforcement!” They added.

    They added that more details on the program will be released soon.
