Police investigation on Lombard Street in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – More than dozen police officers were conducting an investigation at a home on Lombard Street in Springfield Wednesday afternoon.

When our 22News crew arrived around noon, they could see several Springfield and State police officers, as well as the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. Some of those officers were carrying protective shields.

It’s not clear what police were investigating, or if any arrests were made. 22News will update this article as soon as new information becomes available.
