    Learn about Springfield’s food history during Second Saturday Walking Tour

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The City of Springfield will be holding a food history tour on Saturday.

    Hundreds still without power after heat causes outages in Hampden, Hampshire Counties

    The tour promises to serve up a chance to learn about the city’s rich history and try some delicious food from local restaurants like Nadim’s, Juice Bar, and Frigo’s. There will also be some extra surprises for each visitor along the way.

    If you wish to participate, the walking tour will begin at Stearns Square and set to take off at 10:30 a.m.

    The tour is $5 for Springfield Preservation Trust and Springfield Museums members, $10 for non-members, payable in advance on Eventbrite, or exact cash or checks at the outset of the tour. This event is being co-presented by the Springfield Preservation Trust and Springfield Museums and sponsored by the Daboul Family Charitable Trust.
