    Agawam teen caught allegedly attempting to break into cars in Springfield

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Two teenagers were arrested after a report of car break-ins in the area of Liberty and Roy Streets in Springfield.

    West Springfield Police looking to identify suspects who allegedly stole medication from Stop & Shop

    According to the Springfield Police Department, at around 1 a.m. on Tuesday officers were called to the 100 block of Roy Street for a report of car breaks in the area. Two suspects who matched the descriptions were found and arrested after police reviewed video from the area.

    Denes Fonseca, 19, of Agawam is charged with three counts of attempt to commit a crime. A 14-year-old was also arrested however, due to his age, police cannot release his name or charges.

    Police say even though the cars in this case were locked, residents are being reminded to lock their car doors and not to leave anything visible or inside that is valuable.
