SPRINGFIELD, MO — Joplin’s Quin Renfro was named the Offensive Skills Position Player of the Year by the Springfield Sports Commission.

He helped lead Joplin to a 7-4 record last season.

Despite dealing with injuries, Renfro still had a big senior season finishing with over 1600 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns.

He averaged 9.2 yards per carry and just about 200 yards per game.

He was a Class 6 First Team All-State selection.

Renfro’s career is nowhere close to being over as the next stop in his journey is South Dakota State University where he is set to play for the Jackrabbits this upcoming season.
