    New Missouri State AD Patrick Ransdell contract details: Salary, buyout, incentives

    New Missouri State athletic director Patrick Ransdell signed a five-year contract that will pay him $256,000 annually, according to documents posted to the university's website.

    His term begins Sept. 1, 2024, and will run through Aug. 31, 2029.

    Missouri State paid previous athletic director Kyle Moats $185,000 annually. According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, the former Bears boss makes $215,000 in the same role at Eastern Kentucky.

    • $1,000 - If revenues from ticket sales increase by 30% or more, year over year, in any other sports
    • $3,000 - Athletics Director of the Year (regional or otherwise) by NACDA or Sports Business Journal
    • $2,500 - Any year donations to the Bears Fund increase by 30% year over year
