    Save the Date for Burlington County Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival at Fairgrounds

    SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Get ready for a day of fantastic food, cold drinks and live music at this year’s Burlington County Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival.

    Tickets are now on sale for the Sept. 7 event featuring more than two dozen food trucks and breweries from across the region, plus live music throughout the day. The festival will be held from 1 PM to 7 PM at the Burlington County Fairgrounds, 1990 Jacksonville-Jobstown Road in Springfield.

    “Burlington County Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival is a great opportunity for friends and family to come together and enjoy a fun afternoon at one of our County’s parks,” said Burlington County Commissioner Director Felicia Hopson. “Food trucks and craft breweries are important small businesses that add a lot to our local communities, so we’re excited to hold this event to help spotlight and support them.”

    “Craft breweries and food trucks are booming, and we are lucky to have so many outstanding ones operating in Burlington County,” added Senator Troy Singleton. “These businesses are creating jobs and bringing visitors to our local downtowns, parks and community events. The Burlington County’s Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival will bring many of our favorites together to create a fun event that entire families can enjoy.”

    The participating food trucks will provide a diverse menu of delicious foods for sale. They include Butch’s Smack Your Lips BBQ, Buzzetta’s Festival Foods, Chick-fil-a, Corn Hub, Lexylicious, Minute Man Pizza, Little Sicilian, The Mexi-Boys, B&M Food Truck, The Tot Rod, Start of the Sea Seafood, Veganish, Pirate Pete’s Soda Pop, Spirit of San Juan, Korean Taquiera, Kielbasa N’ More, Moocheeze and Big John’s Gourmet Burgers.

    Among the participating breweries will be Zed’s Beer (Marlton), Bout The Hops Brewing (Mount Laurel), Cross Keys Brewing Co. (Mount Laurel), Three 3’s Brewing Co. (Hammonton) and Axe & Arrow Brewing (Glassboro).

    Performing at the festival will be Modern Mojo, Band of Make Believe and High Noon.

    “Whether you’re craving gourmet tacos, pizza, burgers, seafood or fries, you can be certain there will be plenty of delicious food for all tastes, along with some of South Jersey’s best brews and music,” said Burlington County Commissioner Allison Eckel, liaison to the Department of Resource Conservation and Parks. “The Burlington County Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival is another great event organized by our parks staff and a great way to welcome the fall season.”

    State Assemblywoman Andrea Katz said the event is a fun, entertaining way to support local small businesses.

    “Food truck and craft brewery owners and employees live in our county and their businesses help foster economic growth and community development,” Assemblywoman Katz said, “Burlington County’s festival helps showcase these businesses and their delicious foods and beers.”

    The festival caps a season of fun entertainment, educational classes, programs and events offered at County parks, museums and galleries.

    Last year, more than a million people visited a County park or attended a parks event, class or program.

    “The Burlington County Parks System offers hundreds of different programs and events each year, ranging from nature walks and yoga classes to film festivals, concerts, history contests and many more,” said Eckel. “No matter your age or interest, you can expect to find an activity or event you and your family will love.”
