EDISON, NJ - The township has tabled an ordinance to amend the Amboy Avenue Redevelopment Plan. The ordinance would have reduced the maximum height for new mixed-use buildings. The council voted four to two to table the ordinance at their regular meeting on Wednesday. The ordinance aimed to reduce the permissible height for mixed-use retail and office buildings. Veolia has issued a boil water advisory for residents of the Jersey City Heights after a pump shut down for about 90 minutes last night, causing a loss of water pressure. “Troy Street lost a pump. Veolia has people en route to reset it. Once that pump is reset, full pressure will be restored.
