Wilkes-Barre students beautify city with artful benches and trash covers
If you were out and about in Wilkes-Barre Tuesday, you may have noticed the newest addition on East Market Street, right next to City Hall. Wilkes-Barre City Mayor Brown & Councilman Mirin gathered outside City Hall Grounds with students from Wilkes-Barre Area School District’s Creative and Performing Arts Academy to unveil park benches and garbage covers painted and designed by the students.
