ST CHARLES, Mo. — Parking in Downtown St. Charles is getting easier with the help of a new mobile app. St. Charles County announced the new "Park STC" app ahead of some summer events sure to draw crowds downtown. The app shows the current occupancy for all the approximately 1,500 public parking spots in an approximately 30-block area of downtown.

Statesmen, pioneers and automobiles will soon adorn the walls in St. Charles County’s Historic Courthouse in a vibrant mural depicting the county’s history. Eight scenes depicting life in St. Charles County from pioneer days until the 1950s are taking shape this summer on third floor hallway walls of the courthouse at 100 North Third Street. O’FALLON, Mo. – SSM Health is opening a new location inside the Streets of Caledonia in O’Fallon, Missouri. Construction is expected to be complete by October 2024. This will be the first freestanding location that is located along the 64/40 corridor in the western part of St. Louis for SSM Health.
Duello Road to Reopen at Orf Intersection, Closing Between Orf and Route N
The St. Charles County Highway Department will re-open the intersection of Duello Road at Orf Road Tuesday, July 2. The Duello road closure will be shifting to the south to Route N and will close Brookfield Crossing Drive at Duello Road. Grading and road building activities are expected to continue for three months before the road is reopened to traffic.
Groundbreaking conducted for new law enforcement training center
On Monday, June 24, on a 98-degree afternoon, O’Fallon and St. Charles City hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for a new regional law enforcement facility to be constructed on an 87-acre site at 2400 Hwy. 79. St. Charles County Council member, Mike Elam (District 3) was the event’s master of ceremonies.
