Flash Flood Warning issued for parts of Jefferson, St. Charles and Orleans Parish
JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for parts of Jefferson and St. Charles Parish until 6:15 p.m. Street flooding is happening or about to happen. A Street Flood Advisory has also been issued for parts of Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, and St. Charles until 6:30 p.m.

Man's body recovered from Mississippi River in St. Charles Parish
Authorities in St. Charles Parish are trying to identify a man whose body was recovered Tuesday night from the Mississippi River in Luling. A tugboat captain working on the river noticed a body floating under the Hale Boggs Memorial Bridge at about 7 p.m., St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office officials said.
