Fish Dat Rodeo postponed until June 29

Saturday’s 4 ^th annual Fish Dat Rodeo has been postponed due to forecasted inclement weather. The Fish Dat Rodeo has been rescheduled for June 29, and registration for the annual family-friendly fishing rodeo is extended through June 28.

Anglers of all ages are invited to participate in the family-friendly fishing tournament, where competitors vie to catch the largest bass, bream, catfish and sac-a-lait.

This year, the Fish Dat Rodeo is presented by Kidcam Camps and the United Way of St. Charles.

Registration for anglers 12 years old and under is $5, and it costs $10 for those 13 and older or boat captains. Participants can register online through June 28 and view the rodeo rules here .

Competition begins at safe-light with weigh-in at 1 p.m. Food and fun will follow the weigh-in as awards and door prizes will follow.

The Fish Dat Rodeo is open to all St. Charles Parish residents and legal Louisiana fishing licensed persons. A Louisiana fishing license is required for anglers 16 and older. All Louisiana fishing regulations apply.
