St. Johns manufacturer makes big industrial site buy
St. Johns County manufacturing company Rulon International recently completed a deal to purchase the former Burkhardt Distributing site off State Road 16.<\p> According to county records, Rulon closed Wednesday on an agreement to acquire the 10-acre site at 3935 Inman Road for $10.467 million.<\p>
Ponte Vedra Beach Restoration Project completed ahead of schedule
St. Johns County officials announced Wednesday that the $38.6 million Ponte Vedra Beach Restoration Project has been completed two months ahead of schedule.<\p> The project was originally anticipated to be completed by mid-August. Weeks Marine, the county’s chosen contractor, worked with two dredges for a limited time, expediting the overall project schedule so that it could be completed by the end of June. <\p>

Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls is making a push in Northeast Florida. There is already a location at 708 Centre St. in Fernandina Beach. By the end of the summer, there will be one at 120 Durbin Park Drive, Suite D1, in The Pavilion at Durbin Park in Saint Johns County.
