Historical architecture buffs and lovers of the paranormal both have programs to look forward to next week at the Rolling Hills Library.

At 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, Shelly Haynes from the St. Joseph Museums will take a look at the life of Edmond J. Eckel, who was the architect of many of the city's notable buildings. French-born Eckel came to St. Joseph following the Civil War, and it's estimated he or his firms are responsible for 75% of the public and private buildings built in the city from the late 1800s to the early 1900s, including the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion.
