Why spend a ton of money on rental players, if the players we already have aren't interested enough to play well enough anyway!!Mo isn't the problem, PARITY IS THE PROBLEM!!! The Cards don't have the same kind of Huge TV Market the Dodgers or the Yankees or the Boston Red Socks have!! So the lack of TV MONEY, and interference of MLB PLAYERS ARBITRATION RULES, KEEPS DRIVING UP THE COSTS OF QUALITY PLAYERS, AND THE CARDS ARE NO STRANGERS TO BUYING INTO WORN OUT INNINGS EATERS, THAT PAD THE STATS OF OVER THE HILL PITCHERS AND POWER HITTERS. THE CARDS LACKS A BONFIFIED CLOSER AND A FEW MORE RBI MACHINES!!!
