The Salvation Army rolls out emergency flood relief in Cook: food, hydration and flood kits
The Northern Division of The Salvation Army has deployed teams to multiple locations in Minnesota as flooding begins to take a toll in towns like Cook, Faribault and Magnolia. A Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) team is currently serving Faribault in Rice County, providing roughly 150 meals a day to displaced residents who’ve been moved to a temporary shelter. Another team is distributing flood clean-up kits to affected residents in Magnolia in Rock County.

Water levels continue to drop at various locations of concern throughout St. Louis County, one week after devastating storms led to significant flooding. To date, more than 1,500 damage points have been recorded throughout the County - including to public infrastructure and private property.
