    St. Peter gymnasts wrap up regular season with victory over Marshall

    {span class=”print_trim”}(tncms-asset)c2ff0522-c510-11ee-aab2-e7de14d1d267[0](/tncms-asset){/span}Thursday evening, the St. Peter gymnastics team made the trip to Marshall for the final meet of the regular season. The Saints picked up victories of 131.700-121.300 in the varsity competition and 99.500-96.400 in the JV contest to enter the Section Championship on a positive note.

    In the varsity contest St. Peter gymnasts claimed four of the top five all-around finishes, led by Trista Landsom with a score of 34.675. Landsom finished first on the bars with a score of 8.800 and second on the beam with a score of 8.900.

    Addison Landsom finished with an all-around score of 33.575 and posted a first-place score of 9.050 on the balance beam. Laura Klatt finished fourth with a score of 31.950 while Nora Fondie finished fifth with a score of 31.500.

    Bianca Salivia competed in every event aside from the uneven bars, posting an all-around score of 22.175 while Alayna Lyons scored a 6.850 on the bars.

    In the JV Contest, Danely Bocanegra finished first all-around with a score of 25.700 with Lydia Yost scoring 20.400 to claim fourth.

    The Saints will now have a short break ahead of the Section 2A Championships which are scheduled to take place Thursday, Feb. 15, at St. James H.S. Rotations are planned to begin at 6 p.m.
