The 2024 NFL season is an exciting time for fans. One team that has gotten hype is the New York Jets. Many have already made predictions and as a fan of this franchise, I am going to join in on the trend. I will be making five predictions of what I believe will happen with the Jets this season.

The Jets Will Not Make The Playoffs

A lot of people have predicted that the Jets will win the AFC East and represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. Well here is the problem, the AFC East is still a competitive division with the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills being much better teams.

The AFC conference is also still stacked with plenty of teams fighting for wildcard spots. Here is another issue, the Jets coaching staff is not as strong either as Saleh has been a flop as the head coach. NFL coaching matters and it's unclear if the Jets have the right head coach. They should have around a .500 record but will miss the playoffs.

Aaron Rodgers Will Throw For 5,000 Passing Yards And Play Every Game

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0qZRvo_0v1hRA3000

Aaron Rodgers only lasted 4 plays last season. This year Rodgers will come back and play every single game for the Jets in the regular season.

Rodgers will have a great season by setting career highs. The career-high he will be getting is in passing yards. Throughout his long career, the most passing yards was 4,643 yards in 2011. Well, he is going to surpass that this season by getting 5,000 passing yards and getting the Jets franchise record as well.

Haason Reddick Will Be Traded In A Package To Acquire WR Davante Adams

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2XyrOv_0v1hRA3000

It has been unbelievable how the Haason Reddick saga has gone so far. Not four months after this organization acquired Reddick via trade he requested to be traded again. Joe Douglas in a statement did say they won't trade him, but he said the same thing with Jamal Adams and he eventually got traded.

The Jets will try to agree with Reddick, but they likely won't the longer this drags on. I believe that the Jets will trade him, but it will be in a package to acquire WR Davante Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders.

Adams was not happy as a Raider last season and the only reason why he came to Vegas was to play with his college teammate Derek Carr. In another season of the Raiders going nowhere, the Raiders will retool by sending him to the Jets to reunite him with Aaron Rodgers.

The Raiders will get Reddick and a draft pick (either a first or second) and the Jets get Adams. It makes sense, the Raiders need a pass rusher to pair with Maxx Crosby and get a draft pick. The Jets try to go all in to save jobs, by beefing up their offense and getting Rodgers another weapon.

Robert Saleh And Joe Douglas Will Be Fired At The End Of The Season

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0ycSFY_0v1hRA3000

Robert Saleh is the worst head coach in the NFL today not named Dennis Allen of the New Orleans Saints. Saleh should have been fired last season with how undisciplined and unmotivated this team was. The terrible decision-making and management of time in games has been a frustrating experience for Jets fans too.

Joe Douglas for years has been on the nerves of fans for many years. His drafting has not been great excluding his 2022 NFL draft class. He wasted a first-round draft pick on Will McDonald when the team desperately needed help on offense. The Haason Reddick saga has been a predictable messy disaster. Not having a firm Plan B last season if Aaron Rodgers went down. Douglas needs to go if this team doesn't get into the playoffs as well.

Both are on the hottest seat in the NFL and they are gone when the Jets don't make the playoffs this year.

Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner Will Be Extended Mid-Season

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2IqwSz_0v1hRA3000

Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner is the best cornerback that this franchise has had since Darelle Revis. He is also ranked as one of the best by many in the NFL. He will yet again have another strong season and the talk of extensions will begin.

The Jets will have a ton of these talks, but with Gardner, the Jets will take care of it quickly. They will extend him mid-season and make him the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL. One less thing for this organization to worry about, especially the owner Woody Johnson who is a fan of his with constantly wearing the chain that Gardner gifted.

So those are my Top 5 predictions for what might occur during the Jets' 2024 NFL season. Do you agree? What other predictions do you have for the New York Jets for this season? Let us know in the comment section and don't forget to check out other Stadium Rant content.
