Week two of the NFL regular season has come and gone! Make sure to check the waivers for these must-add players before Wednesday!

Derek Carr, QB, New Orleans Saints
    (21% rostered on Sleeper)

Derek Carr is straight-up balling. He has the most passing touchdowns in the league with five and is currently QB2 in fantasy. The Saint’s offense has been firing on all cylinders under Klint Kubiak, and it looks like it will continue. After dismantling the Panthers in week one, the Saints' first real test came against Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys. The Saints had no problem in week two and made a major statement in their 44-19 blowout win.

Derek Carr would register 243 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 completions, good for 22.82 fantasy points and the QB2 finish. He has a great supporting cast, in Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, and Alvin Kamara. Carr is a great streaming option for those who have a quarterback room affected by injury or underwhelming performance. He looks to continue his hot start next week against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Suggested FAAB amount: 5-7% of budget

Braelon Allen, RB, New York Jets
    (21% rostered on Sleeper)

It will be interesting to see how the Jets plan to utilize Braelon Allen this season. There is no argument that the Jets backfield is Breece Hall’s, but Allen played well in limited action. Allen had seven carries for 33 yards and one touchdown as well as two receptions for 23 yards and another touchdown. As of now, he is the RB6 with 19.60 fantasy points. This kind of fantasy outing will not happen often, but the upside is clear.

Braelen Allen could be a potential league winner if Hall does miss time for whatever reason, but he will not provide much weekly value as long as Hall is healthy. Allen should be among the top running back handcuffs to own since he is capable of producing when on the field and he would get a workhorse role in the absence of Breece Hall.

Suggested FAAB amount: 3-5% of budget

Quentin Johnston, WR, Los Angeles Chargers
    (16% rostered on Sleeper)

Quentin Johnston had a rookie year to forget last season. He struggled to establish a role in the Charger’s receiving room largely due to his problem with dropping passes. This season, the WR1 spot is up for grabs in Los Angeles, with both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams on new teams. On Sunday, Johnston was the Chargers' top wideout by a wide margin. He caught five of six targets for 51 yards and two touchdowns.

In what is easily the best game of his career, Johnston would register 21.10 fantasy points and finish as the week’s WR11. It is unclear who Justin Herbert’s top option is as of now, but Johnston’s performance is encouraging to see after failing to build any chemistry with Herbert in his rookie season. He is certainly worth a roster spot as he seeks to build upon his so-called “break-out” game.

Suggested FAAB amount: 5-7% of budget

Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots
    (22% rostered on Sleeper)

Hunter Henry dominated the New England Patriots team target share percentage earning 12 of the 24 total targets from Jacoby Brissett this past Sunday. He would turn those 12 targets into eight receptions, 109 yards, and 22.4 fantasy points (all would lead the team). Unfortunately, the Patriots offense is fairly one-dimensional with no real passing attack, but if there is one pass catcher to own on this offense, it is Henry.

While he may not have the ceiling of the big-name tight ends, he is the top receiving option for the Patriots, which is still valuable. This type of production is unlikely to happen again this season, but Henry could become a sneaky value once Drake Maye earns the starting quarterback role. Maye is known for pushing the ball downfield and making big plays, which is the opposite of Jacoby Brissett's skill set. Henry’s value should only increase as the year goes on.

Suggested FAAB amount: 5-7% of budget
