New York Yankees Star Player Has Crazy Comments After Losing To Kansas City, Saying, "The Royals Just Got Lucky

The MLB playoffs have been crazy so far. Every division series was tied up after two games, which will make the sport must watch TV over the next few days.

Many are watching the New York Yankees vs. the Kansas City Royals series. On Monday night, the Royals tied the matchup at one game apiece after a 4-2 win.

New York was a heavy favorite coming into the series, but now anything can happen since Kansas City will host games three and four. If they win both, the series will be over.

Even though the Royals look very good throughout the postseason, one of the Yankees' star players doesn't think their win on Monday had anything to do with skill but more so with how lucky they were.

Third Basemen Jazz Chisholm Jr. addressed the media after the Game Two loss and stated, "We're gonna win it. We had a lot of missed opportunities tonight. The Royals just got lucky."

Chisholm then took to social media on Tuesday, defended his comments, and tweeted," If you don't believe you're going to win it, you won't! So you better speak this into existence and believe!"

There is nothing wrong with believing in your team and thinking you will win every game, but not having any respect for your opponent is where you will find yourself in trouble.

The Royals are a great baseball team, and if you think they won one game because they just got lucky, then the Yankees will be going home this week.

Game Three of the Royals vs Yankees series will be played Wednesday at 7:08 PM ET.
