The Saints are still on a downward spiral after losing 51-27 to the Buccaneers. It was rookie QB Spencer Rattler’s first start against a tough opponent, and his second start might be the same. Denver’s defense has been their strong point this season. The Saints are figuring things out with a new QB against a top defense in the league. The Broncos have a great opportunity to extend to 4-3 on Thursday night.

New England Patriots vs. Jacksonville Jaguars in London
Drake Maye started his first NFL game last Sunday, and frankly, he looked great. The Patriots’ offensive line is still terrible, but Maye managed to throw for 265 yards and three touchdowns. Now, he plays a defense that gave up four touchdowns to another rookie quarterback last week.
Jacksonville has been difficult to watch in every phase of the game. Neither of these teams is a contender this year, but this is a perfect game for Drake Maye to gain some experience.

Tennessee Titans @ Buffalo Bills
This game could be the biggest mismatch of the week. The 4-2 Bills welcome the 1-4 Titans on Sunday afternoon. Tennessee has been terrible all year, with their only win against a downtrodden Dolphins team. The Bills have been in a slump but they just got a big win over the Jets on Monday night and Josh Allen looks back to form. They also just traded for star wide receiver Amari Cooper. If the Titans win this game, it would be the biggest upset of the season.

Miami Dolphins @ Indianapolis Colts
The Miami Dolphins have not recovered from losing Tua Tagovailoa in week 2. This team is a shell of itself and a bye week won’t fix that. It’s becoming more likely Anthony Richardson could play this week, although the Colts have been holding on well without him. Indy had the better team right now, and momentum is on their side. With or without Richardson this is their game on Sunday.

Detroit Lions @ Minnesota Vikings
The Detroit Lions came out of their bye week and brought the violence. They picked apart the Dallas Cowboys in a 47-9 victory at Jerry World. This was the best they’ve looked all year and they need it for this matchup against the 5-0 Vikings. Minnesota is coming off their bye, and that might be what cools them down. This might be the best game of the week and it’s completely 50/50. Momentum is on Detroit’s side though so they have the slight edge.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns
The Browns lost by four points to the Eagles last week. It’s unclear if that’s a credit to them or an indictment on the Eagles’ troubles. Cleveland’s offense is still one of the worst in the NFL. The Bengals struggled against the Giants last week, but they pulled off a win against a top-five defense in prime time.
This will be another case of Cincy playing a team with a decent defense and a bad offense. Bengals fans should expect a repeat of last week, maybe even better.

Houston Texans @ Green Bay Packers
The Houston Texans’ defense is at a different level right now. They haven’t allowed a team to score more than 21 points since week one. They have their work cut out for them against the Packers though. Jordan Love is back, and Green Bay ranks eighth in passing yards (1402), ninth in receiving yards (1455), and second in rushing yards (1003). This is another 50/50 game on Sunday. With the Texans’ number one wideout Nico Collins hitting IR, that will give Green Bay an advantage.

Seattle Seahawks @ Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons are legitimate contenders and last week they proved that Kirk Cousins doesn’t need to carry them to be successful. Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts are all being used correctly. The Seahawks continued their losing streak last Thursday. Their defense has taken a step down and the offense has struggled to keep up with opponents. This is just a bad matchup for Seattle against a hot Falcons team.

Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants
The Giants have one of the best defenses in football. They held the Bengals to 17 points on Sunday night. They lead the league in sacks with 26. The problem is the offense. Week after week the Giants struggle to put points on the board, making the defense’s efforts meaningless.
The Eagles have problems of their own. Jalen Hurts has struggled to move the ball safely and the play calling is head-scratching at times. Since 2014, in their last 20 meetings, Philly has a 16-4 record against the Giants. History says the safe bet here is the Eagles. The Giants can’t keep up offensively and this will be another week of that.

Carolina Panthers @ Washington Commanders
This game is another mismatch on Sunday. The Panthers are still inefficient and incompetent with no turnaround in sight. Washington lost a close game to the Ravens, but that might’ve been the humbling they needed. The Commanders are still a strong team and they’re hot. This should be an easy one to call.

Las Vegas Raiders @ Los Angeles Rams
The Raiders seem to be falling apart. Davante Adams is on his way to the Jets, and Maxx Crosby seems fed up. The Rams are still struggling without their top weapons. They’re coming off a bye though, and Cooper Kupp is working hard to get back for this one. With or without him, LA has a great shot to get a win over a crumbling team.

Kansas City Chiefs @ San Francisco 49ers
The rematch from Super Bowl LVIII takes place this week, and it feels like just another game. The Niners are still without CMC and Jordan Mason is questionable, while the Chiefs are without Rashee Rice and Isaiah Pacheco. KC has a 5-0 record but they are not playing to that level. San Fran is still recovering from some early-season injuries. This won’t be as fun as their last matchup, but the result will likely be the same.

New York Jets @ Pittsburgh Steelers
The Jets traded for Davante Adams and the offense will get a huge boost. However, they’re still picking up the pieces from Robert Saleh’s firing. New York looks incomplete right now, and Adams won’t be an immediate fix. The Steelers could start Russell Wilson if he’s ready to go, but they shouldn’t. Justin Fields is their guy right now, and if they start him this week then Pittsburgh can walk away with this one.

Baltimore Ravens @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
There are two Monday night games in week seven and this is the big one. Both of these teams are playing great football and sit at 4-2 going into Monday. This is likely to be a high-scoring affair that either team could leave with. The Ravens are on a four-game win streak though and momentum is on their side.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals have struggled to stay consistent this season. Marvin Harrison Jr. has been hot and cold, and now he’s dealing with a concussion. Arizona has no identity right now. The Chargers looked like themselves in week six with a 23-16 win over the Broncos. LA knows how to control a football game and keep it in their favor. They’re not flashy but they’re efficient, and that’s what will win them the game on Monday night.
