Public Golf Course Preps to Become a Private Club
Ravi Bansal, who currently owns 50% of the Fox Valley Club in Lancaster, N.Y., plans to restore it to its former exclusive status. Bansal’s sons, Rohan and Nitin, are in the process of purchasing the remaining shares. Bansal plans to invest about $1 million over the next year on various upgrades, including the restoration of the swimming pool and tennis courts, the installation of a golf simulator, and enhancements to the practice facility.

Northwest Rochester library, undergoing renovations, to open temporary location
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Maplewood Community Library is closed to the public while it undergoes major renovations. Syracuse women’s lacrosse picks up transfer from Rochester area
Syracuse, N.Y. —The Syracuse University women’s lacrosse team has picked up a transfer from the Rochester area. Ava Peers of Fairport, N.Y., who spent her freshman season at the University of Louisville as a midfielder, will transfer to Syracuse for the 2025 season.
