Wildfire Near Abilene Has Area Residents Awaiting Evacuation Notice
TYE, TX — Residents near the town of Tye were told to be prepared to evacuate by the Tye Fire Department due to a fast-moving wildfire Wednesday, July 24. Tye is located just west of Abilene on Interstate 20. "If you live in the area of CR 646, CR 415, and Kings Addition Rd you need to be prepared to evacuate," stated a post on Facebook by the Tye Fire Department.
