$70,000 Corvette stolen from Pekin car dealership
PEKIN, Ill. (WMBD) — Thieves stole a Chevrolet Corvette from a Pekin car dealership on Saturday morning, according to the dealership. According to Drew Sheperdson, the director of operations of Ray Dennison Chevy Pekin, the theft happened around 4 a.m. They used a 2024 Chevy Silverado to break the doors of the dealership, then took the Corvette Z06 out of the showroom.
