MR340 ends with 16 Columbia boats completing the race down the Missouri River
At least 16 Columbia-based boats completed the Missouri River 340 on Friday, with one paddler ending up among the top 25 racers. Brendan Forshee in the men's solo division covered the 340 miles from Kansas City to St. Charles in 47 hours, 17 minutes. He finished No. 22 in the race and placed third in the men's solo division against more than 200 racers.
